RIM Seminar

Robotics and Intelligent Machines @ Georgia Tech will begin their fall seminar series starting August 31. The seminars take place in TSRB (85 5th street, Room 132-134) they start at noon and boxed lunches will be provided. TE Sessions

The 2007 Technology Enrichment Sessions (TE) will be every Tuesday at 5pm till 8pm starting on September 18, 2007 and ending November 13, 2007. There will also be a cookout along with the competition on November 17, 2007 (the Saturday following the last session). This year the sessions will be composed of basic sessions and advanced / special topic sessions. The basic ones will be geared toward new students and the advanced ones are to be aimed at returning students. Schools may split their students up into both legs, but both sessions meet on the same day.
In order to ensure the availability of learning materials, the teacher / sponsor must fill out the registration form found at http://robojackets.org/te_registration/ before September 07, 2007.

Sting Racing Semifinalist

Sting Racing, Georgia Tech’s entry into the DARPA Urban Challenge, has been selected for the National Qualification Event (NQE). The NQE will be held on October 26-31 in Victorville, CA. More info on Sting Racing can be found at http://www.sting-racing.org.
