The 2008 Peachtree Scrimmage will be on both Saturday and Sunday (February 16 – 17, 2008) before ship day. We will need people both days to help run the event.

The ECE Student/Faculty Committee and CEISMC are hosting the FIRST LEGO League State Tournament at the student center on Saturday Feb 9th, 2008. The RoboJackets will provide a robotics demo and presentation from 4:30 – 5pm. We will need members to assist with the presentation.

We are having our next RoboJackets general meeting on January 23rd at 6:00pm in room 320 of the student center. All members should attend. Damon Padgett of Tactical Robot Solutions, who is an alumni member, will be giving a presentation about being an entrepreneur in robotics. For more information on TRS you can goto their website here.
BattleBots will be meeting every Friday from 5pm till 7pm.
RoboCup’s Mechanical Team will be meeting on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sundays from 2 pm till 6 pm.
RoboCup Software Team will be meeting on Sundays from noon till 6 pm. (possibly later if need be) Meetings will be taking place in both the Student Competition Center and the Technology Square Research Building (TSRB). For TSRB meetings the team will meet in the SCC first and then head over to the TSRB.
The RoboCup Electrical Team will be meeting every Sunday 2 pm to 6pm.
