Most seminars will be held on Wednesdays from noon to 1pm and feature talks on robotics from leading research and industry personnel around the globe. On Wed, Sept 3, 2008 at 6pm Caterpillar will be visiting the Student Competition Center. All members are asked to be present. Teams should be ready to briefly present their projects. Don’t forget to wear your RJ polo.
Meet the RoboJackets @ the Student Center

Its been quite a year for RoboJackets! We’ve increased our membership, built some cool robots, and even took a trip halfway around the world! Now that we’re all back, RoboJackets is kicking off another year of robotic mayhem with an Introductory Meeting on Sept 4th at 7:00pm in the Student Center Ballroom. If you’ve never heard of RoboJackets this is an excellent opportunity to see what we are all about and to check out all the projects in the club. If you are a member you should still come as we will be taking the opportunity to take another team photo. In either case, robots (and their humans) will be on hand to answer all your questions. Hope to see you there!
Woodruff Welcome Social (Rescheduled)

On Thursday September 4th the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering will be hosting a Welcome Social complete with free ice cream from 1:00 – 3:00. All ME student groups have been invited. We will be meet in the SCC at 12:15 to setup.

This Tuesday the RoboJackets will not be at the Involvement Fair on Skiles Walkway from 10:00-1:30. It has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Our sever has been down for some time do to the failure of A/C in Student Competition Center. This failure took out one of the hard drives on our old server and caused the back up to operate in less than optimal capacity. We have moved to a new machine. Over next few days there could be sporadic outages as we complete the move. The new machine is in a improved environment with more stable A/C and better network connectivity.
FASET Recuitment Schedule

There will be 6 FASET sessions this summer. Each day we will meet in the Student Competition Center at 5pm and be setup by 5:15 pm. The events will last at most till 7pm.
