Overview
Our RoboCup team, started just last year, made a good rookie showing at the 2007 RoboCup world event which was hosted at Georgia Tech. Our team currently has qualified for the 2010 World Event which will be hosted in Singapore. Applying the lessons learned from previous years our team hopes to emerge as a strong contender for years to come. As such we strive toward innovation and hope to meet the goals of the RoboCup Organization.
The Competition
Our team competes in the small size league of RoboCup. Here a team of five robots which are limited to a 15cm diameter compete in a game of soccer. These robots are autonomously controlled by top-down oriented cameras and wirelessly communicate to each other to defeat their opponents.
